A little about myself…

I recently resigned from the business world after a thirty-year career in business-to-business sales to pursue the visual arts. Working with photography for several decades has been a catapult of sorts for several new interesting opportunities.

My love of photography began forty years ago when I was a teenager. While I started during a time when developing photos in a darkroom was the norm, I have welcomed the digital age and many of my photographs are from both eras. I find beauty in our world by bringing a unique perspective to everyday surroundings. My philosophy of photography is to capture subjects in their present form. Therefore, minimal electronic manipulation is used when processing and printing my photographs.

I specialize in family and senior portraiture, fine art and product photography. Although these areas are my primary focus I am always open to new challenges so please do not hesitate to reach out if you have a unique need.

I began framing to control the presentation of my images. This evolved into creating handmade wood frames. Working with wood is an art in its own right. I am very environmentally conscious, using eco-friendly finishes on my custom frames. I welcome custom framing projects to complete the presentation of the photographs we create or those involving your personal work.

I have worked with many people over the years with a large variety of personal and business photography and framing needs. Special projects are enthusiastically welcomed and I have certainly had my fair share of these types of challenges. Through collaboration these projects have resulted in some fantastic pieces of art.

My wife and I are raising our family in central Pennsylvania. We love this area because of its beauty and close proximity to not only large cities but small towns as well.

Thank you for your interest and please contact me if I can be of service to you.
